Residents of West Bangka Welcome PT TIMAH’s Sacrificial Animal Assistance with Enthusiasm

BANGKA BARAT — In welcoming Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, PT TIMAH once again distributed dozens of sacrificial animals in West Bangka Regency. The sacrificial animal assistance was warmly welcomed by the community and sacrificial committees across various operational areas.

After being symbolically handed over to the West Bangka Regency Government, a total of 39 sacrificial cows were immediately distributed to mosques, institutions, and community organizations.

The distribution of sacrificial animals from PT TIMAH in West Bangka was led directly by the Division Head of Processing and Refinery of PT TIMAH, Sofian Simangunsong. The program forms part of the company’s commitment to continuously being present and sharing happiness with communities in its operational areas.

Chairman of Daarul Mutaqin Mosque in Sungai Baru Subdistrict, Ramli Isa, stated that PT TIMAH is a company that routinely provides sacrificial animal assistance every year.

“Thank you from all the congregation members of Daarul Mutaqin Mosque. PT TIMAH consistently provides sacrificial animal assistance every year in the company’s operational areas,” he said.

He also expressed prayers for PT TIMAH to continue growing and providing benefits to the community.

“Our prayers are for all employees involved in this assistance to be granted health and prosperity. Hopefully PT TIMAH’s production continues to increase and programs like this can continue in the future,” he added.

According to Ramli Isa, the sacrificial meat will later be distributed to communities around the mosque area, including residents of Sungai Baru Subdistrict and Belo Laut Village.

“The mosque congregation here consists of residents from Sungai Baru and Belo Laut, so the benefits are truly felt by the surrounding community,” he explained.

Appreciation was also conveyed by the Head of Belo Laut Village, Ibnu. He expressed gratitude for PT TIMAH’s concern for communities in the area under his leadership.

“On behalf of the community and the Belo Laut Village Government, we would like to thank PT TIMAH for its attention to communities in the company’s production area,” he stated.

He hoped that PT TIMAH would continue to prosper and consistently share with the community so that the company’s presence can continue providing tangible benefits to residents.

“We hope PT TIMAH continues to thrive and remains committed to sharing with the community, so residents can continue to feel the benefits of PT TIMAH’s presence in Belo Laut Village,” he concluded. (*)
