SOUTH BANGKA – PT Timah Tbk is again presenting Healthy Cars in South Bangka, specifically in Rias Village, Toboali District to provide free health services for the community, on Friday (27/10/2023).
Hundreds of residents flocked to take advantage of free health services from members of the MIND ID Mining Industry holding PT Timah Tbk.
Tarja (76), one of the residents who took part in having his health checked, admitted that the free examination greatly helped him.
"I feel very helped by PT Timah's healthy car service because I know what my illness is. "Apart from that, the service is also very good, because every time I have a disease complaint, I am given medicine that suits my complaint," he said.
Tarja said that because of the illness she was suffering from, she could no longer go to the rice fields because her feet often hurt.
"My hope is that after treatment in this healthy car, I can return to my activities like before. "And PT Timah can also bring this healthy car to our village again," said Tarja.
Dewi (40) also expressed the same thing. She said that recently she often experiences complaints such as headaches.
"I thought it was just a normal headache, but when I checked with the doctor, it turned out that my cholesterol was high, and thank God I was given medicine, hopefully after taking this medicine, my health can return to normal," she said.
She appreciated PT Timah Tbk for providing free health services to the people in their village.
"Thank you PT Timah for providing free services in our village, course we are very happy, apart from that we are also greatly helped by the free treatment from this healthy car because the majority of people here are farmers, of course, many complain of illness," said Dewi.
Meanwhile, Rias Village Secretary Muhammad Yunus said that he was very grateful for the presence of these healthy cars because residents could have free health checks.
''We are very grateful for this health service because it has helped our community check their health. Because this is also in line with our Village work program. "Hopefully this kind of activity can continue to be carried out because our village is quite large," said Yunus. (*)
