KUNDUR -- To succeed in the government's program in tax reporting, PT Timah Tbk urges employees to report taxes regularly and correctly.
To that end, PT Timah Tbk held a socialization of the reporting of the Annual Tax Return (SPT) which presented the Primary Tax Service Office of Karimun Regency, at the Wisma Timah Kundur Multipurpose Building, Wednesday (23/2/2022).
Head of the section for data quality assurance from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of Karimun Regency, Afit Satriya, said that this socialization was a place to remind employees to carry out their obligations to report Annual SPTs.
"This reminds me again, because employees are required to carry out annual SPT reporting as taxpayers. Maybe in a year we forget how to fill it out, for that, we come here so that employees as taxpayers can fill in themselves directly, "he said.
He mentioned that taxes have a very vital role for the development of the country, so that his party never gets tired of inviting people to obey taxes.
His party appreciates PT Timah Tbk as a company that is always on time and regularly in reporting SPT. This is in accordance with Law number 28 of 2007 concerning General Provisions and Tax Procedures.*
"In Karimun Regency, PT Timah is a company that regularly and timely reports SPT and we are from Taxation woukld to say thank you for the support that management has always given us," he said.
He explained that the SPT serves as a means for taxpayers to report and account for the actual and fulfillment of tax payments within the last one year.
This socialization activity for filling in the SPT was also attended by the Deputy Head of the Kundur Production Unit, Anton Saputra, and the employee representatives from each work unit. The activities are carried out by implementing health protocols.*
