BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision is one of the annual agendas awaited by the community in the company's operational areas. Every time it is held, the community is always enthusiastic to participate in the activities carried out in the framework of the PT Timah Tbk Service Month.
As in PT Timah Tbk's Technical Engineering Office in Sungailiat Bangka, since early morning people from Sungailiat and its surroundings have been seen flocking to PT Timah Tbk's Engineering Engineering office in Sungailiat, Bangka Regency to accompany their children to attend a mass circumcision in order to welcome PT's 47th anniversary Timah Tbk, Tuesday (18/7/2023).
The atmosphere at the Facility Engineering Office was also ready to welcome the participants of the mass circumcision which was held at the Multipurpose Building of PT Timah Tbk's Facility Engineering Division. Colorful balloon decorations and a photo booth have been installed. So that it can provide entertainment for the participants.

Dozens of beds and dozens of medical personnel have also been prepared to serve the mass circumcision participants. The participants also lined up to wait their turn.
A total of 164 children took part in the mass circumcision which was carried out by members of the MIND ID mining industry holding. This activity was opened directly by the Head of PT Timah Tbk's Facility Engineering Division, Didik Riyadi, who was also attended by the Bangka Timah Employee Wives Association (IIKT).
PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision in Sungailiat was also attended by twins Rega Darmawan and Regi Darmansyah (8). The residents of Tutut Hamlet, Penyamun Village, have been coming since this morning to take part in the mass circumcision.
They wore black Muslim clothes compactly and during the mass circumcision, they were also in an adjacent ward.
"It's nice to have been circumcised, I want to be alone because I'm big," said the two of them in unison after being circumcised.
The parent of the twins, Saferi said he was happy that his two twins could take part in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision.
"In the past, his brother also took part in a mass circumcision from PT Timah Tbk. Thank God my two twins were able to participate as well. So we are waiting for PT Timah Tbk to hold this activity so they can participate in this free one," he said.
He said that this mass circumcision could help them. Especially now that the cost of circumcision is not cheap.
"It is very helpful, especially in terms of costs. We hope that this mass circumcision will continue to be carried out because there are certainly many who are waiting," he said.
In line with Maria, a resident of the Sungailiat Marine Environment, said that with PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision, her son was not afraid to be circumcised.
"It's been a long time since I wanted to be circumcised, but my son has gone back and forth because sometimes he's brave and sometimes he's scared. But with so many friends like this, he's become brave. Thank God, the day is over and he's not crying," She said.
He hopes that PT Timah Tbk can continue to progress so that it can continue to carry out activities like this.
"Hopefully PT Timah Tbk will be more victorious and can continue to help the community," She said.

Meanwhile, PT Timah Tbk's Facility Engineering Division Head, Didik Riyadi, said that this month's Service Month PT Timah Tbk held a blood donor and mass circumcision.
"This year PT Timah Tbk will celebrate its 47th anniversary with the theme Alignment and Hard Work. We also ask for prayers so that PT Timah Tbk can work well. Please pray for PT Timah Tbk to work well and earn a good income so that it can contribute more to the community," he said. (*)
