WEST BANGKA -- Kurnia (62) could not hold back her tears, when the CSR Team of PT Timah handed over wheelchair assistance to her husband, Munzir Musa (72) at her residence in Tegalrejo Village RT 03 RW 03, Sungai Baru Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, Thursday (29/9/2022)
Munzir Musa has been unable to work for almost two years because of a stroke he has suffered. His condition was exacerbated by the prostate disease he experienced.
Although he had surgery, his health condition has not shown any improvement. He was advised to continue treatment at the hospital.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you to PT Timah, the Timah Retired Employees Association for providing wheelchair assistance for my husband," said Kurnia to the PPM Team and the Chairperson of the Timah Retired Employees.
Kurnia was moved even though her husband had retired at PT Timah, the company's attention and support for her husband's recovery remained.
"The wheelchair assistance is PT Timah's support for her husband's recovery, after this, the husband will undergo prostate treatment again, after yesterday's surgery," she said while shedding tears.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the West Bangka Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) who is also the Chairman of the Timah Retired Employees Association (PPT) Muntok Bakhtiar Harahap appreciated PT Timah who cares about the community, especially PPT.
"Thanks to PT Timah for responding quickly to PPT's proposal for our colleague Munzir Musa who gets a wheelchair, this is a form of attention, as well as the company's friendship to its retired employees," he explained.
