BANGKA -- Creating a young generation who loves the Qur'an, PT Timah Tbk supports the construction of the Darul Muttaqin Education Park Unit 157 under the auspices of the Nuurul Fatah Foundation in the Hakok Environmental Area, Matras Village, Bangka Regency, Monday (31/1/2022).
The Qur'an Education Park, which has been established in 2017, currently has 140 students. Where the Alqur'an Education park is a place for students who want to learn the Koran and deepen their knowledge of the Koran. Santri who learn not only from the Hakok Environment, but also from Matras, Koalo, Jelutung, Bedeng Ake, Hakok, and Sinar Jaya.
During this time, the students learned to ride in shophouses owned by residents and teachers' houses. The reason is, the Alqur'an education park does not have its own building.
"So far, the children have studied in the shophouse owned by the residents on loan. There is also a teacher's house. That's why we started building a building here," said Nuurul Fatah Foundation supervisor, Rina Diani.
Rina Diani recounted, the students studied in the afternoon which were divided into two classes, where the students learned the science of recitation, fiqh, reading and writing the letters of the Qur'an, moral theology, Sholawat, recitations, and others.
They used this assistance from PT Timah Tbk to build the foundation of this building. So far, he said, development has been sourced from non-governmental funds.
"Alhamdulillah, this time with the help of PT Timah Tbk, we have started to build the foundation. We want to move students who have been studying in shophouses owned by residents. We have this grand design, which was built by four locales with one multipurpose building," he said.
"In addition to the foundation of assistance from PT Timah Tbk, septic tank, toilets for sons and daughters and places for ablution," he continued.
Furthermore, he conveyed that his party freed the cost of education for students who were less fortunate economically.
Through this educational activity, it is hoped that it will give birth to little preachers from Bangka Belitung. In addition, with the existence of this new building, more students will be accommodated.
"We apply cross subsidies, we free students who can't afford it. Santri who learn not only from the Hakok environment, but from other areas," he said.
His party appreciates PT Timah Tbk for supporting the construction of this Qur'an education park so that it can accelerate the development process which will make students learn more comfortable. (**)
