PANGKALPINANG -- A total of 20 students from PT TIMAH Tbk’s Scholarship Class Program have successfully passed the 2026 National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) and have been accepted into various leading state universities (PTNs) in Indonesia.
This achievement serves as clear evidence of PT TIMAH’s commitment to improving the quality of human resources through sustainable education programs, one of which is the Pemali Boarding School.
One of the successful students is Annisa Anugreini from East Belitung, who was accepted into Universitas Airlangga. She admitted that she initially did not expect to pass due to the intense competition in her chosen major.
“At first I was surprised because the chances were small, but I’m very grateful because this has always been my dream—to enter a health-related major,” she said.
Annisa explained that her success was the result of consistently maintaining strong academic performance since 10th grade, independent study, and the learning support facilities provided by PT TIMAH, including tutoring programs and tryouts.
“The programs facilitated by PT TIMAH that supported me in getting into a state university include tutoring from Ruangguru, which covers academics, tryouts, self-development, sharing sessions, and major consultation. These helped me understand the SNBP system,” she said.
“The Pemali Boarding School program by PT TIMAH has helped me achieve my dreams through structured guidance and strong motivation to keep growing,” she added.
A similar sentiment was expressed by Dwi Friska Romauli S from West Bangka, who was accepted into Universitas Diponegoro. She said she was proud and grateful for the achievement.
“This is the result of three years of hard work, my parents’ prayers, and consistency in maintaining my grades while actively participating in various activities and competitions,” she said.
Dwi also noted that the learning environment at the Pemali Dormitory provided by PT TIMAH strongly supports personal development, both academically and non-academically.
“PT TIMAH, through the Pemali Dormitory, provides an environment that supports my ambition to excel. With facilities that are continuously improved to support my activities, I can fully focus on exploring my potential and achieving academic goals without financial constraints,” she said.
Meanwhile, Reza Dwi Ariyanto from West Bangka was accepted into the Bandung Institute of Technology. He expressed both happiness and surprise at being admitted to his dream university.
According to Reza, various programs facilitated by PT TIMAH, such as tutoring and coaching, greatly helped him prepare for the selection process.
“A comfortable learning environment and adequate facilities allowed me to focus on studying without worrying about limitations. One of the programs provided is Minducation X Timah, which offers tutoring and coaching support that helped me feel more confident in preparing for the future,” he explained.
The students also shared advice for their juniors to stay consistent in their studies, actively participate in competitions, and dare to dream big. They believe that achievements come from hard work, discipline, and making the most of available opportunities.
For Reza, the Pemali Boarding School program facilitated by PT TIMAH plays an important role in shaping students’ character, discipline, and competitive spirit. In addition to providing accommodation, the program also offers various academic guidance and personal development initiatives. (*)
