South Bangka -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk held the 1447 Hijri Ramadan Safari in the South Bangka Area as part of its effort to strengthen ties with employees and communities in the company’s operational areas on Friday (March 13, 2026).
The Ramadan Safari serves as a momentum for PT TIMAH to strengthen the spirit of togetherness between PT TIMAH employees and the communities in its operational regions.
The event was attended by PT TIMAH Commissioner M. Hita Tunggal, Director of Business Development Suhendra Yusuf Ratu Prawiranegara, Director of Operations Handy Geniardi, GM Area Bangka Ryan Andri, Division Head Area South Bangka Nopi Kohirozi, PT TIMAH employees, and members of the community.
During the Ramadan Safari, PT TIMAH also provided assistance to orphans and underprivileged families, Quran memorization students, mosque caretakers, and Quran teachers, as well as distributing basic food packages to the community in South Bangka Regency.
The Ramadan Safari in South Bangka marked the final location of PT TIMAH’s Ramadan Safari series in Ramadan 1447 Hijri, after previously being held in the Bangka Area, Kundur Area, and Belitung Area.
PT TIMAH Director of Business Development Suhendra Yusuf Ratu Prawiranegara said that the Ramadan Safari is not merely a journey during the holy month, but also an effort to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and encourage people to compete in doing good deeds.
“Ramadan teaches patience, compassion, and sharing. Let us make Ramadan a positive energy to become better, more honest, and more caring,” he said.
On this occasion, he said PT TIMAH demonstrated its concern for the community by providing assistance and donations to people in the company’s operational areas.
“This assistance is not about the size of the value, but about care and compassion to help others, bring blessings, and strengthen our commitment to contribute to the nation and the country,” he said.
On the same occasion, Suhendra also expressed his appreciation for the participation of the PT TIMAH family who supported the event.
“I also appreciate the employees who prepared this event, and I am impressed by the employees’ children who earlier recited verses of the Quran and demonstrated a strong understanding of religion,” he said.
The Ramadan Safari series organized by PT TIMAH is part of the company’s effort to maintain harmonious relationships in the workplace while strengthening the values of togetherness that serve as the foundation in carrying out the company’s activities. (*)
