BANGKA SELATAN -- During the holy month of Ramadan, PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to the community by providing assistance to houses of worship within the company’s operational areas.
This time, the company delivered support to help improve the facilities and infrastructure of Musala Baiturrohman in Desa Keposang, Bangka Selatan, on Friday (February 27, 2026).
Assistance for houses of worship is part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) program, which is carried out sustainably to support the community’s spiritual activities.
Husein, Chairman of Musala Baiturrohman, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by PT TIMAH. The assistance will be used to help construct the musala’s terrace, making it more comfortable for worshippers.
“Alhamdulillah, we received support from PT TIMAH and we are very grateful for this assistance, as it will be beneficial for building the musala’s terrace,” he said.
According to him, the musala was originally built through community self-help efforts in 2005 and has continued to grow into one of the main places of worship in Keposang Village.
Meanwhile, Keposang Village Head Kenny Edwardi appreciated PT TIMAH’s concern and contribution in improving religious facilities and infrastructure in their village.
“We, the Keposang Village Government, would like to thank PT TIMAH for providing assistance to the people in our village. We hope PT TIMAH can continue supporting our community in the future,” he stated.
He added that beyond religious support, PT TIMAH has also frequently distributed social assistance to residents of Keposang Village, such as basic food packages.
“PT TIMAH has also provided food aid packages for those in need during Ramadan, as well as sacrificial animals,” he said.
