EAST BELITUNG – PT Timah shared happiness with orphans and orphans as well as the poor in the Ramadan Safari activity which was held in the Belitung Operational Area, Lenggang Village, Gantung District, East Belitung Regency, Monday (19/3/2024).
This compensation for orphans and orphans and the poor was handed over directly by the Main Director of PT Timah Ahmad Dani Virsal and the Director of Operations and Production Nur Adi Kuncoro, who was also witnessed by PT Timah Employees and the Belitung Association of Timah Employees' Wives (IIKT).
In the activity entitled 'Ramadan Harmony, Knitting Unity and Sharing Happiness', apart from giving donations, PT Timah also handed over educational costs and assistance to Islamic boarding schools.
One of the recipients of PT Timah's assistance, Sulaiman Paris, a resident of Jalan Tram, Mengkubang Village, Damar District, East Belitung Regency, said that he was happy to be able to receive assistance from PT Timah Tbk.
According to the man who is often called Grandpa Sulaiman, he had previously received assistance from PT Timah.
"Alhamdulillah, I'm happy to be able to get blessings this month of Ramadan from PT Timah. And this assistance is very helpful for us. "I also previously received assistance from PT Timah," he said.
With his condition no longer in prime condition, there are not many activities that Grandpa Sulaiman can do anymore. He hopes that PT Timah Tbk can continue to help people who need help.
"I no longer work, I no longer have the strength, so for my daily activities, I mostly work at the mosque, just cleaning the mosque carpet. "Hopefully PT Timah will always be successful so that it can continue to help the community," hoped Grandpa Sulaiman.
Likewise, Suci (13) admitted that he was grateful to receive assistance from PT Timah and he hoped that this activity could be carried out regularly.
