PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to supporting national development through contributions in the form of tax payments and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP).
In the first semester of 2024, PT Timah contributed taxes and PNBP to the state, reflecting its important role in supporting the national economy.
Mid January-June 2024, PT Timah has fulfilled its tax and PNBP obligations amounting to IDR 286.242 billion. This contribution covers various types of taxes, including Income Tax (PPh), Value Added Tax (PPN), and Land and Building Tax (PBB), as well as PNBP which covers various obligations related to the mining sector.
PT Timah's Head of Corporate Communications, Anggi Siahaan, emphasized that tax and PNBP contributions are part of the company's responsibility to support national development.
"We understand that as a company operating in a strategic sector, we have a big responsibility to make a positive contribution to the country. Tax and PNBP payments are one concrete form of our contribution in supporting the government to realize sustainable and inclusive development," he said.
Furthermore, Anggi said that PT Timah's tax and PNBP contributions not only play an important role in increasing state revenue but also support various development programs launched by the government.
Revenue from taxes and PNBP is used to finance various infrastructure projects, education, health, and social welfare programs aimed at improving the quality of life of the Indonesian people.
"The company ensures that all tax and PNBP obligations are fulfilled on time and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," he said.
