PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk continues to provide meaningful support to communities through its initiatives in the health sector. One such effort is medical assistance provided to Ahmad Hanif, a toddler from Pangkalpinang who requires ongoing medical care.

Hanif, now 1.4 years old, was diagnosed while still in the womb with omphalocele, a condition that requires ongoing medical treatment.
“My son was diagnosed with omphalocele and abnormal organ positioning, along with other health conditions. His treatment is being carried out gradually based on his condition. He is also receiving treatment at a hospital outside Bangka Belitung,” said Hanif’s father, Rio Selvianus.
Hanif’s condition requires the family to regularly cover various medical needs. Each month, the family faces significant expenses, including supportive medications, daily medical supplies, specialized formula, and transportation for hospital checkups.
Meeting these needs has been challenging for the family due to their limited financial resources. Hanif’s father works as a daily laborer, while his mother is a contract teacher.
Amid these circumstances, assistance from PT TIMAH has provided meaningful support to the family, helping them continue Hanif’s treatment and meet his ongoing care needs. His father expressed gratitude for the company’s attention and assistance.
“Alhamdulillah, the assistance from PT TIMAH has been very helpful and has eased our burden. Hanif’s daily and monthly needs are quite substantial.
