PT Timah's Staple Food Packages Help the Community's Economy Ahead of Eid

WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk continues to share to help people in need. At the momentum of this Ramadhan Month, PT Timah Tbk again handed over basic food packages to the people of West Bangka Regency.

After previously distributing basic food packages for cleaning workers, the community in Air Limau Village. This time, PT Timah Tbk handed over hundreds of basic food packages to the Malahide Sub-District, Kranggan Sub-District, and Air Putih Village.

This basic food package assistance was distributed directly by employees of PT Timah Tbk to the recipient's house. In addition, some are distributed through the Village Government.

One of the basic food recipients, Samini (54), a resident of the Envoy Village, said that the basic food packages help their economy ahead of Eid.

"PT Timah's basic food assistance is very useful for us, especially during Ramadan and ahead of Eid the price of staple foods soars. We really need this, we are very grateful to PT Timah," said Samini.

"PT Timah is very concerned about giving a very important meaning to us, the people of the Toward village, such as assistance with mangrove nurseries, reforestation of ex-mining land, assistance for sick residents," he continued.

In the same vein, a resident of Kranggan Yadi village (52) admitted that PT Timah's basic food assistance was very appropriate for helping residents in the month of Ramadan.

"This assistance is right for us poor people, it is really needed. Many thanks to PT Timah," said the man who works odd jobs.

Meanwhile, Fitria Anggraini, the Head of the Head of the City, appreciates PT Timah's basic food assistance to the residents of the Malah village.
