PT Timah's Series of Community Service Month Activities, Hundreds of South Bangka Residents Participate in Health Checks in Healthy Cars

SOUTH BANGKA – Free health services in the context of the Month of Service to welcome PT Timah's 48th anniversary were enthusiastically welcomed by the people of South Bangka Regency, on Tuesday (25/6/2024).

A total of 125 South Bangka residents took advantage of the free health services provided at the PT Timah Healthy Car at the South Bangka Operations Regional Office, on Tuesday (25/6/24).

Welcoming its 48th anniversary, PT Timah's Month of Service carried out various series of activities including mass circumcisions, blood donations and free health checks for the community which were held in 11 regions.

Yulider Yusmon (54), a resident of Air Medang Village, Toboali City, who took part in the free health check activity at Mobil Sehat, said that PT Timah Tbk's healthy car service was very kind and excellent.

“Alhamdullilah, PT Timah is extraordinary. "Earlier the complaint was cholesterol and ulcers. From the previous examination, Ahamdullilah, the service was very good and very friendly. Apart from that, the doctor also advised me to undergo treatment at another health center," said Yulider.

Yulider found out about this free examination activity because he was accompanying his child to be circumcised.

"I knew there was this activity because my child took part in a mass circumcision activity, after I asked around and it turned out there were free health checks too, so while I was queuing for my child to be circumcised, I also went for a health check here," he said.

According to him, this was the first time he received health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car.

"Hopefully PT Timah can be more energetic in helping the community and continue to contribute to the people of South Bangka in general and Hopefully PT Timah will always be victorious and successful," he said.

Meanwhile, Wasni (66) also did not know that this healthy car inspection activity was free.

"Previously, I was worried about having a health check at Mobil Sehat, because I thought this check was paid for, but thank God, my child told me that if the health check was free, then I went for a health check here," he said.

He hopes that later, after carrying out an inspection at PT Timah's Healthy Car, his condition will improve and he will be able to return to his activities. (*)
