SOUTH BANGKA - PT Timah's series of Safari Ramadan activities in the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah in the company's operational area ended in Toboali, South Bangka. After previously starting on Belitung Island, it continued to Kundur Island and North Bangka Region.
The Safari Ramadan in South Bangka with the theme “Ramadan as a Momentum of Change to Become the Best Person” was held at the South Bangka Area Office in Toboali, South Bangka on Friday (3/20/2025) afternoon.
The Safari Ramadan activity in South Bangka was attended by President Director Ahmad Dani Virsal, Commissioner of PT Timah Rustam Effendi, Division Head of South Bangka Area, Sigit Prabowo, Division Corporate Secretary Rendi Kurniawan, Chairman of IKT and PKT and employees of PT Timah.
In addition to the big family of PT Timah, the Safari Ramadan was also attended by the Deputy Regent of South Bangka, Chairman of the South Bangka DPRD, South Bangka Police Chief, South Bangka Dandim and elements of the South Bangka forkopminda.
In addition to knitting friendship, in the moment of Safari Ramadan, PT Timah also provides social assistance to the community.
The assistance provided includes 950 food packages for the elderly, compensation for 350 orphans and orphans, scholarships for seven tahfiz and scholarships to 20 children of tin employees who excel.
In addition, fruit tree seedlings were also given to the Tukak Village youth organization and the Blessing Farmer Group.
President Director Ahmad Dani Virsal in his speech invited Timah employees to be grateful for all the grace and favors that Allah has given.
“In the next few days we will be reunited with Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully on the day of victory we can celebrate with all employees and the extended family of PT Timah, and become a pious human being,” he said.
On this occasion, Ahmad Dani Virsal expressed his appreciation for the hard work of Timah personnel during 2024. He hopes that in 2025 PT Timah can also achieve the specified target.
“Our performance last year was better than in 2023. Of course this is thanks to the Grace of the Almighty and also the hard work of all PT Timah personnel. I thank you for PT Timah's performance in 2024,” he said.
Nevertheless, he reminded that in 2025 there are still challenges that must be faced together so it is hoped that Timah People must remain focused and compact in supporting production performance.
Ahmad Dani Virsal also reminded PT Timah employees to maintain occupational safety and health.
