PT Timah's Pemali Boarding School Program has been in existence for up to 24 years, the company's concrete steps to improve the quality of human resources

The educational programs implemented by PT Timah since 2000 include the Pemali Boarding School Program, which is a high school education scholarship for junior high school students in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, and Riau Islands Province.

This scholarship program is designed to support high-achieving and high-potential students who come from families in low-income communities around the mining area. Education is carried out at SMAN 1 Pemali, Bangka Regency.

The PT Timah education scholarship program for the high school level has lasted for 24 years, this is an effort by the members of the MIND ID Mining Industry holding company to not only provide educational costs but also support the needs of students who receive scholarships.

Through a scholarship program that aims to provide educational opportunities to communities around the mine. This step was taken as a form of the company's positive contribution to the development of education and the welfare of local communities.

The scholarship class program, which is carried out on an ongoing basis, reflects PT Timah's commitment to sustainable development carried out through the Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) program.

To date, the Pemali Boarding School program has produced 815 alumni who have been active in various fields. The benefits of this program have also been felt by the recipients.

In 2024, PT Timah will again open the Pemali Boarding School program with 211 students registering. This program was welcomed enthusiastically by students.
