PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk continues to reinforce its commitment to implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture through various concrete measures. One of these is the routine holding of joint OHS assemblies across the company’s operational areas.
One such assembly was conducted at PT TIMAH’s Processing & Refinery Division, where employees gathered at the Smelting Plant yard on Monday (April 6, 2026). This activity is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to ensure that OHS culture is effectively implemented across all operational lines.
The joint assemblies held in PT TIMAH’s operational areas also serve as a platform for evaluation, strengthening discipline, and increasing awareness of the importance of workplace safety within the company.
The assembly was led by the Sub Division Head of Processing & Refinery, Kopdi Saragih. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of consistently implementing OHS practices in the workplace.
The Department Head of Corporate Communication at PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk stated that OHS culture is a fundamental aspect of ensuring worker safety while supporting the sustainability of the company’s operations. With consistent OHS implementation, the risk of workplace accidents can be minimized.
“This joint assembly is part of our effort to instill the understanding that safety is a shared responsibility. Every individual plays an important role in creating a safe working environment,” said Anggi.
Through regularly conducted joint assemblies, the company hopes that the OHS culture will become deeply embedded across all levels of the organization, creating a work environment that is safe, healthy, and productive.
