BANGKA -- A total of 127 residents of Sungailat, Bangka Regency queued in an orderly manner in front of PT Timah's healthy car during PT Timah's 48th anniversary service month activities in the EMS office yard, on Thursday (27/6/2024).
Residents are excited to take advantage of free health services from PT Timah, in fact, they have been queuing since morning so they can get faster services.
Of the 11 regions where the month of service is held, Sungailiat is the second region after previously successfully holding the month of service in Toboali, South Bangka.
Health services at Mobil Sehat are now part of a series of Month of Service activities held in conjunction with the 48th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk. This year the company carries the theme 'Moving Compact'.
The series of activities carried out included mass circumcisions, blood donations, and health services with Healthy Cars for the community.
One of the residents who took advantage of the health services at Mobil Sehat, Yakub (63), a retiree from PT Timah, a resident of Nang Nong Utara, Sungailiat who came to have his health checked at Mobil Sehat, was happy to be able to get friendly service from the medical team on duty.
"Alhamdullilah, with a program like this we feel helped, we can check the sugar that we have felt for years, and our legs are also starting to swell and tingle," he complained.

Even though he is a retired employee, he feels proud because he was able to enjoy and see directly the series of service months for PT Timah's 48th anniversary this year.
"Thank you very much to PT Timah, retirees like us are very happy and proud of the Company. "Hopefully this program will be sustainable," he said.
With the presence of PT Timah in society, he hopes that the company will continue to provide benefits to the community.
"Hopefully PT Timah will continue to provide benefits to the community. "Happy 48th Anniversary PT Timah, hopefully, it will be more prosperous, and social, and serve the country to be equally beneficial to all," he prayed.
Meanwhile, Setiati (70), a resident of Plaben Batu Rusa, knows that there are free health services in healthy cars for children.
"The children said there was free medical treatment from PT Timah. Apart from checking blood pressure, we also checked cholesterol, uric acid, and sugar and everything the doctor said was high," he shook his head.
While waiting for the prescription for a medicine prepared by the medical team, he expressed his joy at being able to get free health services and medicine from PT Timah.
"Thank you to PT Timah for providing healthy cars for Sungailiat residents, so that we can get free treatment here," he said.
Residents really need activities like this, so he hopes that this healthy car program will be held regularly.
"We hope that PT Timah will carry out this healthy car regularly, once every three months or once a month if possible," he hoped.
He prayed that PT Timah's 48th anniversary would be more prosperous.
