PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health Service Arrives in Teluk Uma, Residents Enthusiastically Receive Free Healthcare

KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to improving community health through its Mobile Health service. This time, PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health unit visited Teluk Uma Village, Tebing District, Karimun Regency on Wednesday (November 26, 2025).

The arrival of PT TIMAH Tbk’s Mobile Health service was warmly welcomed by residents. Since early morning, people began gathering at the service location to get their health checked.

A total of 110 residents received free health services from PT TIMAH Tbk’s Mobile Health unit. In addition to free medical check-ups, they were also given education on healthy lifestyles.

During this activity, PT TIMAH Tbk also distributed supplemental food for children experiencing stunting in Teluk Uma Village. A total of 28 supplemental food packages were handed out.

Septiyadi Nugroho, the Head of Teluk Uma Village, said that the Mobile Health service was enthusiastically received by people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

According to him, the presence of the Mobile Health unit helps the community access healthcare more easily and at no cost, especially since their holistic posyandu still lacks adequate equipment.

“Residents are very enthusiastic because their awareness of the importance of health check-ups is quite good. This is also a joint effort to improve public health. Thank you for providing health services to our community,” he said.

“So far, our community has had a holistic posyandu, but due to limited equipment, the presence of PT TIMAH Tbk’s Mobile Health service has been very helpful,” he added.

He hopes that PT TIMAH Tbk’s Mobile Health unit can return in the future to continue providing healthcare services for their community, making it easier for residents to seek treatment.

“Thank you, PT TIMAH Tbk, for providing health services for our community. Hopefully, this synergy and collaboration will continue, and the Mobile Health unit can visit our village again,” he said. (*)
