BANGKA SELATAN – PT Timah's Mobile Health Service visited Toboali Market to provide free healthcare services to residents in Toboali District, South Bangka Regency, on Friday (24/01/25).
Equipped with essential medical facilities, medications, and professional medical personnel, PT Timah's Mobile Health Service offers a convenient and accessible solution for those in need of quick health checkups.
A total of 125 residents of all ages eagerly participated in the free health checkups provided by PT Timah's Mobile Health Service.
Susanti (42), one of the participants, expressed her gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing how beneficial it is for the community.
"With PT Timah’s Mobile Health Service, we, the people of South Bangka, feel greatly helped. We can get free health checkups and medications," she said.
Having previously benefited from the program, Susanti shared her confidence in the service.
"I’ve used PT Timah’s Mobile Health Service before, and I came back for another checkup because I know the quality of the doctors and the excellent service," she added.
Similarly, Apridiyanti (58), who was experiencing the Mobile Health Service for the first time, was pleased with the accessibility and care provided.
"This is my first time consulting at the Mobile Health Service, and I must say the service is great, and the doctors are friendly. This is a fantastic initiative, especially for elderly people like me," she said.
She also appreciated the opportunity to consult with doctors without waiting for symptoms to arise.
"Usually, people visit the doctor only when they feel unwell, but with the Mobile Health Service, we can get ahead of potential health issues. I hope this program continues and visits us more frequently so that South Bangka residents can receive regular free health checkups," Apridiyanti added.
In 2024, PT Timah's Mobile Health Service provided medical care to 5,727 residents across 52 locations.
