PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk's commitment to improving the quality of public health continues to be carried out consistently through various corporate social responsibility programs. One of its flagship programs is PT Timah's Mobil Sehat, which until now has served thousands of people in various regions of Bangka Island.
PT Timah's Mobil Sehat is present to facilitate access to health services for the community. The reason is, free health services from members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding come to residents to villages and hamlets in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
In the first four months of 2025, PT Timah's Healthy Car has visited 9 points on Bangka Island with a total of 1,194 people receiving free health services.
PT Timah's Healthy Car has traveled to various sub-districts on Bangka Island, covering Bangka Regency, West Bangka, Central Bangka, and South Bangka.
Through Mobil Sehat, PT Timah provides basic health services for residents such as basic health checks, doctor consultations, provision of medicines, and health education for free.
“Mobil Sehat is a form of the company's concern for the health of the community around the operational area. The company wants the community to get easy and fast health services,” said Department Head Corporate Communication PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan.
In addition to medical services, this activity is also accompanied by education about healthy lifestyles, the importance of early detection of disease, and prevention of stunting in children.
Not only focusing on health services, PT Timah also continues to encourage public awareness of the importance of maintaining health from an early age. Through Mobil Sehat, the company hopes to support the government's efforts to improve public health and reduce the number of non-communicable diseases.
