Bangka Barat -- PT Timah's Mobile Clinic continues to serve the communities in West Bangka Regency. This time, it visited Ibul Village on Wednesday, (25/6/2025).
The free healthcare services provided by PT Timah’s Mobile Clinic were met with overwhelming enthusiasm as hundreds of Ibul Village residents rushed to the village hall to receive medical treatment.
The presence of the Mobile Clinic also drew the attention of children who were on school break, as it was the first time the clinic had visited their village.
Ibul Village Head, Arnui, expressed his appreciation for PT Timah’s initiative, noting the high level of enthusiasm from residents eager to receive free healthcare services. He explained that many had come to the village hall early in the morning to register.
Arnui also highlighted that PT Timah's Mobile Clinic offered a different approach by coming directly to the village, making healthcare more accessible for residents who usually had to travel a considerable distance to the nearest public health center.
"Besides being free, the Mobile Clinic from PT Timah comes directly to us. Residents only need to walk to the healthcare site. Normally, they would have to go to the health center, which is quite far and requires transportation," he said.
He thanked PT Timah for the free healthcare services provided and expressed hope that the program would continue.
"Thank you to PT Timah for this free healthcare. We hope this activity continues in our village. May PT Timah continue to thrive," he added.
One of the residents, Lona (46), said she was very happy to receive free medical care, especially since it was the first time the Mobile Clinic had visited their area.
"It’s so nice to have this kind of free treatment in our village. This is the first time, and I came out of curiosity as well," Lona said.
Meanwhile, Dona Gita (23) shared that she and her friends took the opportunity to have their health checked.
"The organizers said it wasn’t just for sick people, even those who feel healthy could get checked. So my friends and I came to do a check-up too. After the exam, we even received snacks from the Mobile Clinic. It was a great experience. Please come back more often," she said.
