PT Timah's Mobil Sehat Healthcare Service Welcomed by Residents, Present at West Bangka Government's Market Operation

BANGKA BARAT – PT Timah's "Mobil Sehat" (Healthy Mobile) program once again provided free medical check-ups and treatment for the people of West Bangka.

In collaboration with the West Bangka Regency Government, the healthcare services from PT Timah's Mobil Sehat were offered alongside the Market Operation program.

The event, held simultaneously at Gelora Mentok Field on Tuesday (January 21, 2025), was met with enthusiasm by residents eager to benefit from both PT Timah's healthcare services and the West Bangka Government's Market Operation program.

Zainab (78), a resident of Pal 3 Air Belo, expressed her happiness about the free medical services provided by PT Timah.

"I'm so happy. While buying rice, I found the Mobil Sehat here. I got a health check and free medicine from PT Timah, so I could get treated right away. Thank you, PT Timah," she said.

Similarly, Syahroni (71), a resident of Air Samak, stated that free medical services are always in demand by the community.

"We, as a community, really need free healthcare services, especially during the rainy season when many people get sick. I hope this program can continue and visit our village directly," he said.

Fauziah (67), a resident of Tanjung, shared that this was her first time receiving treatment through the Mobil Sehat program, and she hopes the service becomes a regular initiative.

"I'm grateful for the free treatment, as this is my first time here. I'm very pleased with the good service. I hope the Mobil Sehat program is held regularly," she said.

Sarwati (61), a resident of Gang Siswa Belo Laut, remarked that the Mobil Sehat service differs from other healthcare services. She took the opportunity to address her health concerns.

"Thank you for checking my health and giving me medicine. Alhamdulillah, they even gave us snacks. It's different from other healthcare services," Sarwati said.

Head of the Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade Office of West Bangka Regency, Aidi, highlighted the collaboration between the West Bangka Government and PT Timah's Mobil Sehat program during the Market Operation event.

"Alhamdulillah, during the Market Operation, the West Bangka Government partnered with PT Timah to provide health check-ups and free medical treatment. We hope the community can take advantage of PT Timah's free services to maintain and monitor their health," Aidi said. (*)
