EAST BELITUNG – PT Timah's Healthy Car continues to provide health services to the community in its operational areas. After visiting eight points last month in the context of the Month of Service to welcome PT Timah's 48th anniversary.
This time the PT Timah Healthy Car is back to provide health services for the community in Lalang Village, East Belitung Regency.
The health service carried out in the car was carried out at Nyiur Melambai Beach, Lalang Village, on Thursday (18/7/2024) and was immediately attacked by residents.
Ali Imron (64), a resident of Sawah Hamlet, Lalang Village, who took part in having his health checked was very grateful for the activities of the members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding.
Ali Imron has even received health services three times at PT Timah's Healthy Car because access is close to home.
According to him, with the health check at PT Timah's Healthy Car, he doesn't need to travel far for treatment.
"The health check-up here is delicious, apart from the medicines available, consultations with doctors are also delicious. "So every complaint we make is responded to by the doctor, and the medicines are also available," he said.
Ali also said that the high enthusiasm of the residents for this activity meant that he had to come early.
"It's just that the queue is long because public interest is very high, so if we are a little late in arriving, it will make the queue feel long.
He hopes that PT Timah's Healthy Car can be implemented regularly in their village so that they can be closer to treatment.
"We hope that activities like this can be carried out regularly because if one treatment is not immediately cured, we hope that PT Timah can hold this activity regularly in the future," he said.
Meanwhile, Iskandar (58) said that he wanted to check his health in this healthy car because the illness he had been experiencing for two years had not healed.
"I found out about this activity from a neighbor, he said there was a free inspection from PT Timah at this beach. Because there are complaints of back pain, and I have experienced this for two years. "I have also tried seeking treatment everywhere, both medically and traditionally, but it has not yielded results," said Iskandar.
He hopes that the Healthy Car service will be carried out regularly because it will make it easier for them to access health care.
"Hopefully PT Timah Jaya will always, and continue to carry out this free medical activity for the community, because if you want to go to a hospital or health center it is quite far, if this is close to home," he concluded. (*)
