BANGKA BARAT -- Benteng Kota Village, Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency is the third area visited by PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car in 2022. This is the second time the car that provides free health services has stopped at Benteng Kota Village.
People flocked to the office of the Benteng Kota Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) to get health services in the Healthy Car, which was initiated by PT Timah Tbk, Monday (7/2/2022).
Wati (50), a resident of Banteng City, assessed that the presence of a healthy car is very helpful for residents, especially for the poor. "We are grateful that PT Timah provides free treatment like this. Moreover, we residents can't afford it if we use money, of course we don't have any fees. Of course we are very happy," said Wati.
Similarly, expressed H. Mulyani (67), this woman has several complaints such as shortness of breath and cholesterol. He felt many privileges for treatment in a healthy car. "Alhamdulillah, there are activities like this in our village, closer to treatment, faster service, friendly people, free, quite happy," she said.
Abdullah (58), a traveling baker admits that having a Healthy Car is more helpful and makes it easier for people to seek treatment. "For the past two nights, we have been feeling chills, while there is treatment, we seek treatment first. Thank God, with the Healthy Car, the community is quite helpful. You can get free treatment, it's not far. If you go to the Puskesmas it is 4 km away, especially if you don't have a vehicle, if your parents want to pick you up. Hope this activity can be routine, if possible once a month, "he hoped.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tempilang sub-district, Russia, said that PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car program is in line with the vision and mission of the West Bangka Regency Government to provide free health services for residents. "PT Timah's Healthy Car Program is a form of PT Timah's concern for the community in the health sector. We support this program. This program further facilitates the vision and mission of the Regent and Deputy Regent of West Bangka," said Russian.
Russian, who once served as Head of Health Promotion at the West Bangka District Health Office, assessed that this program was very helpful for the community. He hopes that programs like this will be carried out regularly. "As the government of the Tempilang sub-district, we thank PT Timah for carrying out mobile medical activities. From several activities, residents have told us that they feel very helped by this healthy car," he added.
Likewise, the Head of the Banteng Village of Sapro City said, PT Timah's Healthy Car Program for the second time in the village he led "This Healthy Car is for the second time in Banteng Kota village, when there is a Healthy Car activity we always welcome it," he said.
Meanwhile, the Extension Cadre of Banteng Village, Sumarni City, said that the Healthy Car program is often awaited by the community. "PT Timah's Healthy Car Service is very helpful for the community. Thank God the community is enthusiastic about the activity, this program is indeed awaited by the community," he concluded.
