PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic Visits Bencah Village, Hundreds of Residents Seek Medical Care

BANGKA SELATAN – The arrival of PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic in Bencah Village, Air Gegas District, South Bangka Regency, was met with enthusiasm by the local residents.

A total of 130 residents attended the free healthcare services provided by PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic, held at the Futsal Sports Hall in Bencah Village, South Bangka, on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The day before, PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic also provided healthcare services in Air Lintang Village, Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic is a free healthcare service that visits communities, an initiative from MIND ID, a member of the Mining Industry Holding, aimed at improving the quality of healthcare in mining-affected areas.

The presence of PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic is part of the company's commitment to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, specifically in the healthcare sector.

Ipan Purwanda Syahbani, the Secretary of Bencah Village, expressed his appreciation for PT Timah's free healthcare services, noting that the residents were highly enthusiastic about the event.

"We hope this service can be expanded and that PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic can return to Bencah Village because the enthusiasm, especially for healthcare, is remarkable," he said.

Similarly, Rusnawati, a resident of Bencah Village, mentioned that the free medical services provided by PT Timah were very helpful and made it easier for the community to access healthcare.

"We get our health checked and immediately receive medicine, which simplifies the process. I hope PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic can visit us once a month to make it easier for the community to seek treatment," she hoped.

Iskandar, another resident of Bencah Village, echoed the sentiment, expressing hope that PT Timah's Health Mobile Clinic could regularly visit their village.

"The service is excellent. Hopefully, it can continue, and if possible, it could be held here once a month," he said. (*)
