PT Timah's 48th Anniversary Month of Service, Hundreds of Residents Can Get Free Health Checks in Healthy Cars

PANGKALPINANG -- Health checks are part of the Month of Service activities to welcome PT Timah's 48th anniversary which will take place in the company's operational areas from the end of June to July 10, 2024.

A total of 593 residents in operational areas received health services through Mobil Sehat. The presence of health services in the context of PT Timah's Month of Service is a form of PT Timah's presence to improve the quality of public health.

The PT Timah Healthy Car Program is a health service launched by PT Timah at the end of 2020. Thousands of people in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province have experienced health services provided in this car.

Growing and developing together with the community in its operational areas, PT Timah has launched various programs whose benefits can be felt directly by the community. The health aspect is one of them.

In the Month of Service to welcome PT Timah's 48th anniversary, a series of activities were carried out including mass circumcisions, blood donations, and health services at Mobil Sehat.

Almost every year to celebrate the Company's Birthday, PT Timah carries out a Month of Service to the community. Not surprisingly, PT Timah's Month of Service series is often eagerly awaited.

One of the residents who received health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car, namely Tjang A Hit (82), a resident of Bangka Regency, said that he used health services from PT Timah.

According to him, he really wanted to check his health but was hampered by the distance, especially since he had difficulty walking. With the PT Timah Healthy Car, he can check his health condition.

"It's great to be able to get treatment in PT Timah's healthy car because the service is very friendly and it's nice to consult with the doctor. Thank you PT Timah for providing health services for us," he said.

Likewise, Didin Wahyudin (50), a resident of Hakok Neighborhood, Matras Subdistrict, also really appreciates the Healthy Car service.

"Hopefully this program can continue because this program is very good for us underprivileged people, and of course, it is very helpful for us of course," he hoped. (*)
