JAKARTA – PT Timah Tbk received the 4-Star Top Human Capital Award at the 2024 Top Human Capital Awards held by Top Business.
Alongside PT Timah, the company’s Human Resources Director, Dr. Hendra Kusuma Wardana, S.H., M.H., CEH, was also recognized with the 2024 High Performing Human Capital Director Award.
The award was accepted by Togap M.P. Siagian, Acting Division Head of Human Capital at PT Timah, during the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Wednesday night (30/10/2024).
The annual TOP Human Capital Awards assesses and deepens achievements in the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) through multiple stages, culminating in independent panel interviews.
This year’s awards focused on “Aligning The Organization to Business Growth Strategy.”
Chairman of the TOP Human Capital Awards 2024, M. Lutfi Handayani, highlighted that the event emphasizes learning alongside recognition.
“With the TOP Human Capital Awards, we aim to continually promote organizational development by integrating Human Capital management strategies to support sustainable business growth,” said the Editor-in-Chief of TOPBusiness in his remarks.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the TOP Human Capital Awards 2024 Jury, Dr. Budi W. Soetjipto, emphasized that today’s dynamic business environment requires agile human capital management aligned with shifting business strategies.
He noted that the increase in digitalization within business processes must be matched by a Human Capital readiness that is adaptable to employee development, systems, and digital technology.
“Therefore, we conclude that business transformation, driven by digitalization and challenging global economic conditions, demands an evolved Human Capital Management System (HCMS) to ensure sustainable business growth,” Budi said.
He elaborated that one of the main evaluation criteria for the TOP Human Capital Awards 2024 is the alignment of HCMS with business strategy, a critical factor in ensuring that companies continue to support sustainable business growth.
The annual TOP Human Capital Awards drew 103 companies that completed all stages of the assessment this year. (*)
