BELITUNG - PT Timah participated in supporting the MSME festival organized by the Ministry of BUMN in the 'Karya Nyata Festival' or KNF Vol. 5.0 was held at Tanjung Pendam Beach, Belitung Regency, on Friday (16/2/20244).
The activity entitled 'Recovering Submerged Trunks', which means bringing out something that has long been lost, is the theme of the fifth KNF.
The KNF was previously carried out in four major cities in Indonesia, including Tangerang, Padang, Medan, and Jambi.
KNF Vol. 5.0 was also participated in by BUMNs in Bangka Belitung, including PT Timah Tbk, MIND ID Holding, PT Taspen Persero, BUMN Foundation, PT BTPN, PT Telkom, PT Pos Indonesia, PT Jamkrindo, PT Pos Indonesia PT Angkasa Pura 1, PT PNM, PT Pupuk Indonesia, PT Bukit Asam, and PT DC IT Priwisata development.
Head of the CSR Division of PT Timah Rahmat Taufik in his speech at the opening ceremony said that this activity was a forum for MSMEs to show off their efforts in promoting their products.
"Thank you for the enthusiasm of the Belitung people for this activity. "Hopefully with this event, the world of MSMEs in Bangka Belitung can be even more vibrant, can produce quality products, and of course can compete on the national and international stage," he said.
Apart from that, this activity is also one way for BUMN to develop young talents, this event is the idea of ??the CEO and CFO of Rumah BUMN, which is intended to develop MSMEs throughout Indonesia.
"Let's support them together and develop their businesses so that this program can run and can be rolled out to the next cities, so that MSMEs in the regions can get a good place to promote their products," he said.
Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Belitung Yuspian
also present at the opening of KNF Vol. 5.0 appreciates the role of BUMNs in Bangka Belitung in facilitating MSMEs.
"We welcome activities like this because this really impacts MSME actors in Bangka Belitung, where their products can be facilitated, especially in times like this we need various supports, including from BUMNs in "Bangka Belitung," he said.
The presence of BUMN is expected to play a big role in terms of production and marketing. Of course, this has a very positive impact on the economy.
"Apart from that, PT Timah has a big role in this activity. "In the future, we hope that we can continue to increase events like this so that we can develop the community's economy," he said.
"PT Timah has been with the people of Belitung for a long time, both with its mining sector, plus the role and contribution made by PT Timah can certainly support and develop other sectors, such as tourism, the creative economy and others. We hope that PT Timah can continue to support that," said Yuspian.
Meanwhile, Lalu Adian Wiguna as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Rumah BUMN expressed his gratitude for the implementation of the KNF Vol. 5.0. where Belitung was the point chosen to host.
"Thank you to BUMN colleagues and Frokopimda who have helped with this activity, so that we can hold today's activity," he said.
He mentioned Real Works Festival Vol. 5.0 is a form of synergy and collaboration between BUMN in supporting the development of MSMEs, and through this festival, it is also hoped that it can become a forum for MSME players to introduce and market their products to the public.
"Apart from that, the Karya Nyata Festival also provides a platform for millennials to be creative in advancing the creative economy in Bangka Belitung, especially on Belitung Island.
