PT Timah Tbk's Tirta Krida Swimming Pool Becomes a Recreation Facility and Location for Swimming Athlete Competitions at the West Bangka 02SN Event

WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk is building sports facilities in each of the Company's Production Units. Sports facilities are not only intended for internal PT Timah Tbk. But often also used for the general public.

One of PT Timah Tbk's sports facilities that are often used by the general public as a means of recreation, such as the Tirta Krida Unmet swimming pool located at the Muntok Metallurgical Unit, West Bangka.

Not only that, this swimming pool is the location for swimming competitions in the 02SN event for elementary and junior high school students in West Bangka Regency.

One of the 02SN swimming athletes, Freddi said he was happy to be able to compete in the Tirta Krida swimming pool owned by PT Timah Tbk.

"At the practice house in the pit, I am very happy to take part in the competition here, it is clean and beautiful. Thanks to the support of my parents, I passed the selection at school and was trained to swim by the teacher in the swimming pool in the sub-district," he said.

Likewise, one of the visitors, Eddy Arif, who accompanied his son to take part in the swimming competition at Tirta Krida, also praised the existence of this pool.

"The swimming pool is quite good, beautiful, and suitable for the O2SN competition. Of course, we, the people, are proud of PT Timah's support
early childhood achievement in swimming," he said.

A similar sentiment was also conveyed by the Head of O2SN Lontingen sub-district Jebus, Sugeng, saying that the Tirta Krida swimming pool had met the standards to be used as a swimming location.

"For the elementary and junior high school levels the swimming pool is quite good, it is standard for holding swimming competitions. We hope this swimming pool will progress and develop, so it can continue to hold competitions. Thank you to PT Timah for building this facility," said the Head of SDN 1 Jebus School.
