PANGKALPINANG -- Pangkalpinang City is the last location in a series of PT Timah Tbk Service Month activities in welcoming the Company's 47th Anniversary. Previously, PT Timah Tbk had carried out the 2023 Service Month at seven other points in the company's operational areas, which began on July 10.

Hundreds of residents from various regions enthusiastically participated in the mass circumcision and donated blood. Since morning they came for registration and waited their turn.
A total of 165 children took part in the mass circumcision which was held by the MIND ID mining industry holding members
The participants in the mass circumcision were also entertained by clowns and cartoons while waiting for their turn to be circumcised. Some of them looked enthusiastic and tense following the mass circumcision.

President Director of PT Timah Tbk Ahmad Dani Virsal also attended and greeted the mass circumcision participants and blood donors. He seemed to be talking with the participants.
This activity was also attended by Assistant II of the Pangkalpinang City Government Suryo, Representatives of the Pangkalpinang Police Chief, Taman Sari Sub-District Head, and the community.
Ahmad Dani Virsal said PT Timah Tbk's Service Month is a routine activity carried out by the company as a form of concern and gratitude for PT Timah Tbk in welcoming the company's age.
"Alhamdulillah, this year PT Timah Tbk will turn 47 years old. The company is holding a social service for blood donation and mass circumcision. This is a form of our gratitude for the gift as well as providing benefits to the community in the company's operational areas," said Dani Virsal.
According to Dani, PT Timah Tbk's 47th anniversary carries the theme 'Harmony and Hard Work' with this theme expected to spur unity and increase productivity so that PT Timah Tbk can continue to provide benefits to society and the Nation.
"Hopefully in this series of activities, this month of service can provide meaning for all of us, for employees, for the community. We hope we can synergize and collaborate with each other," he said.
Dani also appreciates all parties who have been involved in supporting the PT Timah Tbk Service Month series of activities so that they can be held at eight points.
"Congratulations to the children who were circumcised today, I hope they will become pious children and children who will benefit their parents and the nation," said Dani.

One of the participants in the mass circumcision Abizar Al Gifari (9) admitted that he was very happy to have been circumcised. He became happier because he received parcels and gifts from PT Timah Tbk after his circumcision.
"I didn't cry because I wanted to be circumcised myself. I was very happy to get a watch and an envelope to save," he said shyly.
Abizar's parents, Novi, admitted that they were very happy with PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision. With this mass circumcision, he said his son wanted to be circumcised. Whereas before, I had often wanted to be circumcised but always refused.
"Thank God, thanks to PT Timah Tbk, our son wants to be circumcised, because he has often been asked to be circumcised but doesn't want to. Maybe it's because there are so many people around him that he's not afraid and is brave," he said.
He hopes this activity can continue to be carried out because it really helps the community. Especially now that the cost of circumcision is not cheap.
"It's very helpful because it's free and the children are given lots of gifts. If we pay for this, it's quite expensive, it can be up to one million. Hopefully, this activity is carried out regularly because it really helps the community," said the resident of Kampung Dul, Pangkalan Baru.
Similar to Wulansari, a resident of Kace Village said he felt very helped by PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision.
According to him, his nephew Muhammad Danis (5) was very enthusiastic about PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision. Even been ready since 05.00 WIB.
"I took my nephew, Alhamdulillah, he was circumcised and his son was also given a gift from PT Timah Tbk. He was very happy and enthusiastic because he was the one who wanted to be circumcised," he said.
He hopes that this activity can continue to be carried out because the enthusiasm of the people who participate is quite high.
"It is very helpful for activities like this. Hopefully, this can continue to be done so that more and more people will feel the benefits. Jaya Always PT Timah Tbk," he said.
