BELITUNG TIMUR - PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car came for the first time and provided free health services for the community of Lintang Village, Renggiang District, East Belitung Regency, Thursday (27/7/2023).
The presence of the PT Timah Tbk healthy car was enthusiastically welcomed by the Lintang Village Government (Pemdes) and the people of Lintang and its surroundings. A total of 114 people had their health checked in the mobility health service.
In fact, the Pemdes Lintang provides free transportation facilities for people who want to seek treatment at PT Timah Tbk's healthy car location, namely in the Puja Selera field, Lintang Village, Renggiang District, East Belitung.
The Head of the Belitung Production Unit Sigit Prabowo and the Head of Lintang Mahmuda Village directly monitored the progress of the healthy car activity in Lintang Village.
One of the residents of Air Selumar Hamlet, Lintang Village, Mardi also checked himself in PT Timah Tbk's healthy car. Even though it was his first time, he was not awkward following step-by-step the health service process carried out by members of the MIND ID mining industry holding.
"This kind of service is really expected, because it makes it easier and helps people who can't afford to seek treatment at other health facilities," said Mardi.
According to Mardi, the community is greatly helped by PT Timah Tbk's healthy car service, because it is easier in terms of service and is closer and more convenient.
In fact, usually, Mardi seeks treatment at Manggar and his wife at Beltim Hospital. With the availability of healthy cars in their villages, it is certain that health services are closer to them.
"Alhamdulillah, we are very happy to be treated in this car," he explained.
Therefore, he hopes that this healthy car service will come regularly and provide health services on Belitung Island.
In the same vein, a resident of Lintang Hamlet, Lintang Village, Hasima (89) said that he usually seeks treatment at the Renggiang Health Center, with PT Timah Tbk's health car service being used to check his health.
"Earlier we checked for gout, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, thank God, it was checked for free," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Lintang Mahmuda Village appreciated PT Timah Tbk for providing free health services in their village.
Moreover, the people of Lintang Village are very enthusiastic about using this healthy car to check their health.
