WEST JAVA -- PT Timah Tbk's Emergency Response Group (ERG) team continues to work hard to help earthquake victims in Cianjur, West Java. After five days of working together with the BUMN Disaster Task Force, the ERG Team continues to provide services for victims of this natural disaster.
PT Timah Tbk, which is a member of the Indonesian MIND ID Mining Holding, deployed an ERG team to help the Cianjur earthquake victims and set up a post in Buniaga Village, Ciherang Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency.
The ERG team provided health services, assisted in the evacuation of victims, and also provided logistical assistance to the surrounding community.
Every day dozens of people affected by the disaster use health services from the medical and paramedical team of PT Timah Tbk.
Not only that, but PT Timah Tbk's ERG rescue team together with Basarnas also worked hard to help evacuate the bodies of residents and belongings of residents of Kampung Buniaga, Ciherang Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency.
The ERG team also distributed food logistics to the people of Kampung Pojok, Tunggilis Putri Village, Pacet District.
PT Timah Tbk's ERG Team Coordinator, Guntur Avriyandi, said that in assisting disaster victims, his party continues to coordinate the BUMN Disaster Task Force.
Guntur said that his party was following the directions from the Ministry of SOEs as conveyed by the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir to help villages that were severely affected, moderately affected, and those that had not been reached by volunteers.
In addition, the distribution of logistics is also more focused on areas that have not been reached.
Not only that, by the direction of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the ERG Team also took part in carrying out mental recovery for children directly affected, providing medical assistance to people in need.
