PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk commemorated the Company's 47th Anniversary on August 2, 2023. In commemoration of this anniversary, PT Timah Tbk held a Town Hall Meeting 'PT Timah Tbk's 47th Anniversary Celebration' which was held in Hybrid from Graha Timah, Wednesday (2/8/2023).
PT Timah Tbk's 47th anniversary carries the theme 'Harmony and Hard Work' which is interpreted as the company's determination to move forward to become a leading company, grow together, and be productive in building a glorious journey.
This Town Hall Meeting was attended by Timah Individuals from each Work Unit and PT Timah Tbk's Subsidiaries. PT Timah Tbk's 47th-anniversary commemoration was marked by cutting the tumpeng together.
The Board of Directors of PT Timah Tbk also attended directly at Graha Timah Pangkalpinang, while the Commissioners witnessed directly from the Representative Office of PT Timah Tbk in Jakarta.
The President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Dani Virsal, took this opportunity to invite Timah employees to work hard so that they can continue the glory of the company and contribute to society.
"Hopefully, in the momentum of the 47th anniversary, PT Timah Tbk will further strengthen our shared commitment to building and improving the company's performance, in line with the spirit of commemorating the 47th anniversary this time, namely harmony and hard work," he said.
According to him, the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk is a sacred moment for all Timah people. exactly 47 years ago, the name PT Timah Tbk was hoisted on the national stage as a State-Owned Enterprise.
"This means, the existence of a company where we serve has a big responsibility and an important role in contributing to the nation and the country. Let's strengthen our hearts and make today a momentum to strengthen VISION, MISSION Company to go on the next journey and fight," he said.
The series of activities for the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk started last July, this state-owned company has carried out a Service Month which was held in the Three Provinces of the Bangka Belitung Islands.
PT Timah Tbk Service Month activities were held from 10-22 July 2023, namely mass circumcision and blood donation. A total of 962 children participated in the mass circumcision and 472 blood bags were collected in this activity.
To share happiness with the people in the operational areas, PT Timah Tbk will also hold a Healthy Week which will start on August 6. This healthy week will be held at four points, namely Pangkalpinang, Kundur, South Bangka, and East Belitung. (*)
