EAST JAWA -- PT Timah Tbk received an award from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) as a State-Owned Enterprise which obtained Rank I in the 'Very Satisfactory' AA category as BUMN of archives management based on the results of archival supervision in 2022 and the AA Accreditation Qualification of 'Very Satisfying' ' in the momentum of the 52nd anniversary of Archives.
This award was handed over directly by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas accompanied by the Head of ANRI Imam Gunarto to the Director of Human Resources of PT Timah Tbk, Yennita at the peak of the 52nd Archives Day Commemoration of 2023, Monday (22/22/2020) 5/2023) at the El Royal Banyuwangi Hotel, East Java.
On the second day of the 52nd Day of Archives, MIND ID Mining Industry Holding Member PT Timah Tbk also won an award as an accredited Archival Unit for organizing archives with a 'Special AA' qualification.
The 52nd Archives Day commemoration carries the theme "Archival Movement: Towards Advanced Bureaucracy, Collective Memory of the Nation and Superior Civilization".
In 2022, ANRI has carried out archival supervision of 79 ministries/agencies, 8 State Universities, 5 State-Owned Enterprises, 34 provinces and 422 districts/cities, which totals 548 agencies.
The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas, in his opening remarks, conveyed the importance of effective and efficient, integrated archival management so that it can become data in the central government and regional governments.
Meanwhile, the Head of ANRI Imam Gunarto conveyed that this year's archive theme is in line with the national program, in which the archival program has two impacts, namely encouraging the acceleration of advanced bureaucratic reform, and encouraging the advancement of culture through the formation of a collective memory of the nation and superior civilization.
He added the purpose of holding the 52nd Archives Day is to be able to take the spirit of the archival struggle carried out by its predecessors and then emulate it.
"The archive community is expected to be able to confirm and strengthen their intention to organize a better archive in support of the vision and mission of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Human Resources of PT Timah Tbk Yennita said that receiving this award was the company's motivation to continue to innovate and strive to make improvements in the field of archives.
"We have started transferring active archival media and digitizing by implementing PT Timah Tbk's internal archival application and continuing to provide guidance to all Archival Processing Units. Hopefully, this will further strengthen PT Timah Tbk's archival performance as one of the efforts to preserve the nation's collective memory and a source of inspiration. for the future," said Yennita.
