JAKARTA -- PT Timah Tbk won the Top BUMN Awards 2022 award for the Outstanding Achievement in Solvability Ratio in the Non-Infrastructure category given by Bisnis Indonesia which was held at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Tuesday (13/12/2022).
The 2022 TOP BUMN Awards carry the theme 'Competitive, Sustainable and Value Creating'. This is the fourth time the TOP BUMN Awards have been held by Bisnis Indonesia. This award is an appreciation for SOEs that have excellent performance in various aspects.
President Commissioner of the Indonesian Business Group Hariyadi B. Sukamdani said the Top BUMN Awards 2022 aim to provide encouragement as well as an appreciation for the best BUMN performance for achieving brilliant performance.
"The 2022 TOP BUMN Awards are being held in earnest so that they can become the best award for the best performing BUMN. One of our steps is to choose a jury that is credible and professional in its assessment," said Hariyadi.
He also appreciated the SOEs that won the Top BUMN Awards 2022 which are expected to continue to improve their achievements so that they can continue to contribute to the country.
"To the recipients of the award, we are very proud of the best performance that has been given to state-owned companies. We hope that the achievements can continue to be improved even better. Meanwhile, for companies that have not received awards, we hope to be more enthusiastic, triggered to improve performance by making breakthroughs," the message.
Chairman of the 2022 BUMN Awards Top Jury Board Prof Roy Sambel Ph. D said the assessment was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. One of the assessments is the financial statements consisting of profitability, ratios, and liquidity, taking into account the steady assessment from the Ministry of BUMN.
"The judges will also see from a growth perspective during a crisis whether it is still sustainable. After the combination we get a score, apart from being quantitative there are also qualitative considerations, namely aspects of GCG and ESG," he explained.
He conveyed, congratulations to the award recipients, and with the achievement of this award, it is hoped that they will continue to motivate SOEs to provide the best performance.
"Tough sailors don't emerge from calm seas, we hope there will be strong sailors or businessmen and companies from here," he said
