PT Timah Tbk Wins Two Awards in AHI 2022

PT Timah Tbk won two awards in the Indonesian Public Relations Award (AHI) in 2022. In the gala night held at the Atria Hotel, Malang City, Friday, October 20, 2022, this member of the mining BUMN MIND ID holding won two Bronzes for the Internal Digital Magazine category. (Internal e-Magz) Best version of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

The two editions of Stannia's internal magazine, which has now changed to a digital platform (e-magazine), are the March 2022 edition with the theme "AKHLAK, bukan Sekedar Wacana" and the April 2022 issue with the theme "Perempuan di Lingkar Tambang".

The success of Stannia Magazine published by PT Timah Tbk's Corporate Communication (Corcom) Division complements several awards previously won in the Internal Magazine Award (InMA) competition. Anugerah HIumas Indonesia (AHI) 2022 itself is the first event that Stannia has participated in since the AHI event which is now entering its fourth edition.

Present directly at the AHI 2022 gala night, among others; Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Mayor Sutiaji, Mayor of Tangerang Arief Wismansyah, Directorate General of Higher Education Kemendikbudristek Prof. Tjitjik, Chancellor of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, Rector of Universitas Airlangga Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, Rector of the University of North Sumatra Dr. Muryanto Amin, and several local public officials as well as representatives from several state-owned institutions.

The CEO of Indonesian Public Relations, Asmono Wikan said, the series of events of the Indonesian Public Relations Award in 2022 this time focused on the theme "Innovation of Public Openness for Advanced Indonesia".

He considered that the issue of public information disclosure is an important matter for government institutions so that later the public can give their trust in the policies issued. For this reason, according to him, Public Relations is the front line in charge of public communication.

"That's why we at Indonesian Public Relations believe that public relations are important and strategic. We present the Indonesian Public Relations Award to all of you," said Asmono.

Asmono said, on the night of AHI 2022, 38 public institutions won after competing two months ago. There are also several leader awards from institutions that are popular in digital media.

For information, the winners of the most popular leaders and the most popular institutions in digital media, ministry sectors include the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi; Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan; Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Syahrul Yasin Limpo; the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia, Basuki Hadimuljono; and the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Furthermore, the most popular leaders in the digital media sector of the Provincial Government are the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil; the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru; Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa.

The winners of the most popular leaders in digital media in the City Government sector were won by the Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji; the Mayor of Tangerang, Arief R Wismansyah; the Mayor of Makassar, Mohammad Ramdhan Pomanto; the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi; and the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana.*
