PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk won the 2022 ESG Disclosure Awards with BB Management predicate from Investor Magazine which focuses on the Bumi Global Carbon Foundation.
The award was held virtually and was attended by the Head of the CSR Division of PT TIMAH Tbk, Wednesday (26/10/2022). This award is an appreciation to companies that get an assessment of the ESG factor in the Capability Report (SR).
The Editor in Chief of Investor Daily, Primus Dorimulu said that the Government, the business world, and the community are obliged to apply the principles of Environment Social Governance (ESG) to make things better.

Meanwhile, the Founder of Bumi Global Foundation, Deni Daruri, explained that the calculation of the ESG Awards disclosure score was carried out through a sustainability reporting analysis to determine the level of ESG transparency using relevant ESG factors by the BGK Foundation.
BGKF itself has identified 33 main ESG factors based on regulatory studies, international agreements, and reporting standards guidelines.
These criteria include the criteria for leading ESG factors from The Nasdaq Helsinki Capital Market, the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) framework and provisions, and the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). According to BGKF's analysis, these factors greatly affect the company's sustainability reporting and how to maintain sustainable business operations.
"This year the BGK Foundation and Investor ID Magazine will conduct an assessment and give appreciation to all companies that have disclosed ESG aspects," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Climate Change Control of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Laksmi Dwanthi congratulated the company that received this award.
