WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk synergizes to support the activities of the 116th Military Manunggal Build Village (TMMD) Kodim 0431 West Bangka which was carried out in Air Bulin Village, Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency.
Through the 116th TMMD program, PT Timah Tbk synergizes with the TNI to build livable houses for the community, distribute basic food packages for residents in need, build toilets, and construct volleyball courts.
The 116th TMMD activity began with the Opening Ceremony of the TNI Manunggal Building the 116th Village for the Year 2023 which was held in Air Bulin Village, Wednesday (10/5/2023). The 116th TMMD will be held on May 10-June 8 2023. Apart from working with PT Timah Tbk, this activity also synergizes with Forkopimda, stakeholders and the community.
Commander of the 116th TMMD Task Force Lt. Col. Deri Indrawan said the 116th TMMD Kodim 0431 carried out activities with physical and non-physical targets. For non-physical activities such as extension counseling, such as stunting, posyandu, creative campaigns, agriculture and animal husbandry, drug counseling, law, and education on national insights.
"The 116th TMMD activity with the physical goal of opening a 2.5-kilometer road shoulder connecting Air Bulin village and Tebing village, building three culverts, building 2 wooden bridges, building 2 units of Livable Houses and building toilets, "explained Deri who also served as Dandim 0431 West Bangka.
According to him, PT Timah Tbk really supports the TMMD program to carry out a number of activities with physical goals. He hopes that this collaboration program can continue so that the community can immediately feel the benefits.
"PT Timah is very supportive of the TMMD program, especially the renovation of RTLH houses, construction of toilets and construction of a volleyball court. So that besides the main target of the Kodim, it is also carrying out additional goals with PT Timah Tbk," he said.
Meanwhile, West Bangka Regent H. Sukirman said that TMMD provided welfare, so that this activity was supported by Forkopimda and stakeholders in West Bangka.
"We thank the central government, especially the TNI, for organizing TMMD sustainable activities. This is carried out to provide welfare to the community. For this reason, we together, the local government, DPRD, police, prosecutors and stakeholders make programs according to suggestions from the community. ,” he said. (*)
