BELITUNG -- Welcoming the implementation of the G20 Development Ministerial meeting in Belitung on 7-9 September 2022, PT Timah Tbk provided support to the Belitung Regency Tourism Office.
Assistance in the form of jerseys and hats with G20 nuances to support the implementation of the G20 in Belitung. The assistance was given directly by the Head of the Belitung Production Unit Achmad Haspani to the Secretary of the Belitung Dispar, Annyta at the Belitung Dispar office, Wednesday (31/08/2022)
Secretary of the Belitung Dispar, Annyta said the assistance would be used as a supporting attribute in the promotion of Belitung tourism in the G20. He considered this a good form of collaboration between government and non-government.
"Bappenas views the G20 event as not only government elements, but non-government and other parties," said Annyta.
According to Annyta, the T-shirts that support PT Timah Tbk will be given to the boat drivers or captains, the crew of the tour boats, and the guides who will escort the delegation during the island tour.
"Later they will use the same uniform, so it will be seen by the delegation," she explained.
Annyta explained, that during the island tour, they will show the iconic granite tour at sea later. So the delegation will visit the islands of Galangal, Kelayang, Kepayang, Garuda Bird's Head and Batu Belayar.
"Well there the delegation will rotate and will take pictures together there at Batu Belayar," she explained.
Therefore, Annyta explained, Dispar Belitung is very ready to welcome the G20 and is just waiting for its implementation.
"We have prepared it, it's just that there are only small ones left later," she explained.
Of course, Annyta also appreciates PT Timah Tbk for the support, because it is a very good collaboration because the development of Belitung tourism requires collaboration from all levels.
