PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk has provided a refrigerator to Asri Rusip to support production improvements in the culinary sector. This assistance reflects the company’s commitment to promoting local economic growth and helping MSMEs develop.
The support from PT TIMAH Tbk is intended to help Asri increase production capacity and maintain the quality of her products, which have become increasingly popular among consumers. Fermented fish, known as rusip, has become a culinary icon of Bangka Belitung with its unique and distinctive flavor.
As demand continues to rise, Asri needs to store larger quantities of stock to meet customer needs while maintaining product freshness.
“I decided to apply for refrigerator assistance because it’s essential for storing processed rusip. With this new refrigerator, I can more easily meet the demands from souvenir shops and customers,” said Asriyani, owner of Rusip Asri.
Asriyani shared that her business has been operating since 2018 and now produces hundreds of bottles of rusip per day.
“Alhamdulillah, I recently received a refrigerator from PT TIMAH Tbk. My old refrigerator was no longer cooling properly, making it difficult to store rusip in large quantities. With this new refrigerator, I can store more stock and maintain product quality,” she explained.
With PT TIMAH Tbk’s support, Asri hopes her production will continue to grow so she can meet the demand from souvenir shops, resellers, and regular customers.
“I’m very grateful for the assistance from PT TIMAH. This refrigerator allows me to store more rusip, especially since it’s larger. Hotel Sampurna in Lubuk Linggau is one of my regular customers. They usually order around 200 bottles each time their stock runs low. I hope that in the future, Rusip Asri can become more widely known, not only in Indonesia but also internationally,” she said enthusiastically.
