BANGKA BARAT -- PT TIMAH Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the advancement of sports and education in Bangka Barat. This time, PT TIMAH Tbk provided assistance for the implementation of the Inter-Student Futsal Championship for junior and senior high schools across Bangka Barat.
The championship, organized by the Bangka Barat Education Office in collaboration with the Bangka Barat Police, served as a platform for students to express their talents and enhance their achievements in sports.
The event took place from August 25 to September 1, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence.
The Head of the Student Futsal Committee, Aditio Prayoga, explained that they initially faced a shortage of funds to carry out the championship. After the event concluded, the committee still experienced a financial shortfall to cover several operational needs.
“Fortunately, PT TIMAH Tbk guaranteed payment to cover the funding gap, and Alhamdulillah, the commitment was recently fulfilled, allowing the committee to settle the remaining expenses, including food and ball boy services,” said Yoga.
“On behalf of the committee, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to PT TIMAH Tbk. We hope this collaboration will continue. Our prayers are for PT TIMAH to keep growing and achieving success,” he added.
He further mentioned that PT TIMAH’s support is a tangible example of the company’s concern for developing the potential of the younger generation, particularly in the field of sports.
Looking ahead, he hopes PT TIMAH Tbk will continue contributing to nurturing outstanding young talents and strengthening its relationship with the communities in its operational areas.
“We truly appreciate PT TIMAH’s commitment to education and sports in Bangka Barat. Hopefully, this collaboration will continue. Our prayers are for PT TIMAH to keep growing and succeeding,” he concluded.
