PT TIMAH Tbk Strengthens Partnership Payment System Acceleration to Enhance Governance

PANGKALPINANG – PT TIMAH Tbk continues to reinforce its commitment to realizing sound tin industry governance. One of the improvement efforts undertaken to enhance operational performance is by strengthening mutually beneficial relationships with business partners through optimizing the payment process to these partners. This initiative is part of PT TIMAH Tbk’s effort to improve transparent governance, strengthen the supply chain, ensure smooth production, and foster strong partnerships with mining business partners.

This step reflects PT TIMAH Tbk’s positive response to various inputs and aspirations, aimed at listening, taking action, and providing concrete solutions for better partnership relations.

Corporate Secretary of PT TIMAH Tbk, Rendi Kurniawan, stated, “PT TIMAH Tbk continues to implement internal improvements, including refining and socializing processes to business partners—particularly regarding the payment mechanism. This is important to ensure operational smoothness for partners, which in turn directly benefits the community.”

To date, PT TIMAH Tbk has implemented a digital system to facilitate the payment process for business partners. However, to ensure administrative efficiency, the company has conducted simulations to guarantee that the billing and payment processes run swiftly and with minimal obstacles.

“At present, we have re-socialized to business partners the importance of timely billing submissions, the use of the payment application, and the completeness of administrative documents. These aspects must be properly understood to enable faster payment processes,” Rendi explained.

In addition, to facilitate online billing for business partners, PT TIMAH Tbk has equipped GBT (tin ore collection stations) with administrative rooms complete with computers and internet access. This aims to make it easier for partners to expedite billing administration processes.

“All processes are conducted online and integrated. The company also requests partners to assign administrative teams capable of entering billing data directly at GBT locations so that administrative acceleration can be achieved efficiently. PT TIMAH Tbk will also provide direct assistance to partners throughout this process. Of course, this requires collaboration and commitment from our partners to ensure success,” Rendi added.

Rendi further expressed hope that PT TIMAH Tbk’s business partners would collaborate actively to speed up the payment process, ensuring the partnership operates in a transparent, accountable, and optimal manner.

He emphasized that business partners play a strategic role in supporting the company’s supply chain and operational activities. Therefore, ensuring certainty and timeliness in payments is a key element of implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at PT TIMAH Tbk.

In addition to accelerating the payment process, PT TIMAH Tbk is also implementing various administrative system improvements and digitalization of business processes. These measures are part of the company’s ongoing internal transformation to strengthen governance, enhance operational efficiency, and reinforce integrity and accountability in all aspects of its business processes.
