PT Timah Tbk Service Month in Jakarta Collects Dozens of Blood Bags

JAKARTA - Dozens of blood bags were collected during the PT Timah Tbk Service Month which was held at the Jakarta Representative Office, Jalan Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta, Monday (10/06/2023).

This blood donation was attended by employees of PT Timah Tbk and the surrounding community who participated in celebrating the humanitarian action in commemoration of the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk.

In line with the theme carried by PT Timah Tbk in its 47th Anniversary of 'Harmony and Hard Work', members of the Mining Industry holding MIND ID carried out Mass Circumcision and Blood Donation during this year's Service Month.

Isnawati (46), one of the residents who also donated blood, admitted that she was grateful to be involved in this activity. The reason is, this resident of Jalan Dewi Sartika, Bekasi is happy to be able to donate blood.

“Just this year, I took part in a blood donor activity, previously I donated directly to patients. When I finish donating, I feel my body is fresher and good for my health. Let's actively donate blood, by donating blood there are many benefits for us and others," she said.

She also appreciated PT Timah Tbk for organizing blood donation activities because it could help stock blood for people in need.

"Happy 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk. Hopefully, PT Timah will be more advanced and more active in making activities like this. Because activities like this are very good for all of us," she said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Timah Tbk Fina Eliani who was present at this activity said, through this activity, it was hoped that the existence of PT Timah Tbk could continue to be felt by the community.

"This July, PT Timah Tbk held a month of service in 2023 which is a series of PT Timah's 47th anniversary. Hopefully, through this year's service month, PT Timah can do more for the people in its operational areas," she said.
