*House Fire Victims
WEST BANGKA -- Ridwan (38), a resident of Air Samak Village, Meward village, could only resign himself to seeing the house and its contents were devoured by a red rooster, last Tuesday (28/9/2021). Omo incident occurred while cooking water on the stove.
"At that time, I just transported IT equipment, cooked water, rushed to buy a machine, forgot to turn off the stove. At that time there was no one in the house. Half an hour later, the fire scorched the house and its contents," said Ridwan.
PT Timah Tbk responded quickly to the disaster faced by Ridwan, PT Timah Tbk handed over food and cash assistance to ease Ridwan's burden. This assistance was handed over by the Head of Administration for the Metallurgical Unit, Muntok Yudianto, Wednesday (29/9/2021).
Ridwan is endlessly grateful to get help from PT Timah Tbk, with this assistance he can help those who are in a disaster.
"Grateful to have been assisted by PT Timah, in the form of groceries and cash, Thank you very much to PT Timah for caring for us, Hopefully PT Timah will be more advanced and victorious," he said
Ridwan is currently living with his parents, he is just resigned to what happened to him and his family.
"Now I live with my parents, fortunately at the time of the incident, my wife and children were not at home. Now the disaster has happened, we can only accept the disaster," said Ridwan
Meanwhile, the Village Head of Meward, Fitria Anggraini, expressed her appreciation for PT Timah's quick response to helping its residents who were affected by the fire.
"As the village head, representing the community, we thank PT Timah for its quick response to helping our residents who were hit by the house fire on behalf of Ridwan," he said.
