BANGKA BARAT - PT Timah Tbk again distributes hundreds of wearpacks to janitors in the company's operational area. This time, PT Timah Tbk handed over 160 pax wearpack to janitors in Bangka Barat Regency, Tuesday (2/11/2021).

This wearpack assistance is an effort by the company to assist janitors in carrying out their duties in each region.

Head of Environment Office Bangka Barat Ridwan said, wearpack from PT Timah Tbk will be handed over to janitors in the field and Landfill (TPA).

"For the distribution of wearpack we will distribute to janitors, friends who are in the field and landfill. We would like to thank PT Timah who has always cared about the environment," he said.

For him, the assistance provided by PT Timah Tbk is indeed the need of janitors in the field.

"We are very happy with his help, like a row. With the help of Warepack this is one of the equipments of the janitor field," said Ridwan.

He assessed PT Timah remained committed to paying attention to the environment very well with evidence of the achievements of Proper Green achieved by the company. According to him, in Bangka Barat, only PT Timah Tbk won Proper Green.

"PT Timah is committed to environmental issues. As we know PT Timah has followed the rating program (proper). Proper is one of the proofs that we cannot deny. Until last year PT Timah had got Proper GREEN and tried to achieve gold, it was not easy to get that proper. In West Bangka only PT Timah gets proper GREEN," explained Ridwan.

Ridwan hopes that PT Timah and the community can synergize with the Regional Government to build West Bangka.

"PT Timah showed its care to the environment in Bangka Barat. This is evidenced by distributing the help of 160 Pecs Warepack to janitors in West Bangka," he concluded.
