BANGKA BARAT -- PT TIMAH Tbk once again delivered free healthcare services to the community through its Mobile Health program, which was held at the Bozeem Teluk Rubiah Beach Tourism Area, Tanjung Subdistrict, West Bangka Regency, on Wednesday (April 1, 2026).
The presence of PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health unit was warmly welcomed by residents who had been waiting to receive free medical services. Since early morning, people crowded the location to take advantage of the health check-ups and treatment provided.
Ida, a resident of Sungai Baru, Mentok, said she regularly utilizes the Mobile Health services from PT TIMAH. She noted that the services are fast, convenient, and very helpful for the community.
“This is my third time receiving treatment from the Mobile Health unit. The service is quick, there’s no long waiting time, and the location is close to my home,” she said.
She added that the program is very beneficial, especially for those who have difficulty accessing healthcare facilities.
“For people who live far from healthcare facilities, this makes it easier and faster to get treatment. We hope this program continues in the future, perhaps once a month,” she added.
A similar sentiment was expressed by Rusli, a resident of Teluk Rubiah, who accompanied his wife for treatment. He appreciated the free healthcare services provided by PT TIMAH.
“This program is excellent and very helpful for the community. The service is good, it’s free, and snacks are even provided. My wife always wants to come here every time the Mobile Health unit is available,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the West Bangka Tourism and Culture Office, Fakhriansah, also expressed appreciation for the presence of PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health services in the Bozeem tourism area.
According to him, the program not only supports local government efforts to improve public health but also has a positive impact on the tourism sector.
“The presence of this Mobile Health unit greatly helps the community while also supporting the promotion of the tourism area. Visitors can enjoy the destination while also shopping for MSME products,” he said.
He added that the activity helps increase the attractiveness of the Bozeem tourism area, which is already widely known and continues to attract more visitors.
