WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk supports the Gebyar Muharam 1445 Hijriah organized by the Teluk Rubiah Youth and Community Communication Forum in collaboration with Mentok Punye Gawe (AM PeGe).
The Gebyar Muharam 1445 Hijriah was greeted enthusiastically by students at the SD/MI and SMP/Tsanawiyah levels which took place on July 26-30 at Bozem Beach, Musala SDN 2 Mentok and TPA Al Murthadha.
Chairman of the Rubiah Bay Youth and Community Communication Forum, Wahyudi Apriansah said that the Gebyar Muharam held a number of competitions such as the call to prayer competition, calligraphy, Hafiz Juz 30 competition, hadroh competition, recitation competition, Hafiz Juz 10 competition, Quiz, preacher competition, and competition tartile.
Wahyudi appreciates that PT Timah has also supported the Gebyar Muharam activity organized by FKPMTR to inflame Islamic symbols.
"Representing the youth and the people of Rubiah Bay, we thank PT Timah for supporting the activities of Syiar Islam in Gebyar Muharram 1445. We also hope to continue to work together with PT Timah in the future. Hopefully, PT Timah Tbk will progress further and provide benefits to the community," he said.
In the same vein, AMPeGe Member Candra assessed that PT Timah Tbk's role in supporting community activities was very good.
"PT Timah Tbk has been playing a role in supporting activities in the community, the community has been assisted by PT Timah," he said.
The Saimin Community Leader as well as the jury in "Gebyar Muharam 1445H" welcomed PT Timah's support in this activity.
"Alhamdulillah, PT Timah is also supporting the 1445H Ramadhan Festival. It is hoped that in the future PT Timah will continue to be active in helping community activities," said Saimin.
One of the participants in the Azan competition, Muhamad Rehan (11), a student at SDN 2 Mentok, admitted that he was happy to take part in this activity.
"Very happy, I want to follow in my brother's footsteps to win the competition," he said. (*)
