This educational scholarship program for the community in the company's operational areas is PT Timah Tbk's commitment to supporting access to education for communities around the mining area.
A total of 815 alumni have graduated through the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship class program at SMAN 1 Pemali. This high school scholarship program with a boarding system provides opportunities for outstanding students who are economically disadvantaged.
Through this educational scholarship program, it is the commitment of MIND ID Mining Industry Holding members to support the achievement of the 4th point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely quality education for all levels of Indonesian society.
For this reason, PT Timah Tbk launched various sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to encourage the world of education.
In addition to providing scholarships for high school level education, last Ramadan, PT Timah Tbk also handed over 650 packages of school supplies for orphans and orphans in PT Timah Tbk's operational areas.
Other programs carried out by PT Timah Tbk to support two educations such as supporting activities carried out by schools and improving educational facilities and infrastructure at various levels of schools.
