WEST BANGKA -- The presence of a clown with the character BoBoBoi added to the liveliness of PT Timah Tbk's Month of Service mass circumcision which was held at the Muntok Metallurgical Unit, West Bangka, Thursday (20/7/2023).
The participants in the mass circumcision also seemed happy and enthusiastic about the clown's presence. Being entertaining while reducing the tension of children who will participate in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision.
PT Timah Tbk held a series of Service Months to welcome the Company's 47th Anniversary which was held in the operational area. Today, the Blood Donation Service Month and this mass circumcision was held in West Bangka Regency.
One of the participants in the mass circumcision, Tiko Pramono, a resident of Tanjung Punai Village, Muntok District, West Bangka, admitted that his class was very happy and amused by the presence of this clown.
"Very happy, able to entertain, so enthusiastic about being circumcised," said the 1st-grade student at SD 14 Tanjung Punai.
In the same vein, Okta, a resident of Sukal hamlet, Belo Laut village, also said that he could take pictures with cartoon characters, which he usually could only see on a television screen.
"It was nice before the circumcision to be invited to take a photo with the clown BoBoBoi, it's like on TV," said Rofiq with a smile.
Not only providing entertainment for children, but the presence of this clown also helps parents to calm children who will be circumcised.
"The presence of clowns not only entertains children but also gives enthusiasm to children," he said.
Similar to what was conveyed by Ruspandi, the parents of one of the participants, said that the series of service months for PT Timah Tbk in Muntok was lively.
"The program is a thumbs up, lively, very good event, the children are happy, the parents are also not worried, and the enthusiasm of the children increases for circumcision," he said.
Yadi, who plays the clown BoBoBoi, admitted that he was happy to be able to entertain the children at the PT Timah Tbk Service Month event.
"Hopefully PT Timah can continue to be involved in events like this, happy to be able to entertain children," he said. (*)
